Who can carry out a status check?

You can only carry out a status check if you are legally entitled to carry out a DBS check and the DBS certificate you are asking to view is the same type and level as you can ask the individual to apply for.

If you carry out a status check, you will be asked to make a declaration confirming that you can legally carry out such a check and you must be able to comply with the DBS Code of Practice.
