I have submitted a referral / letter / email to DBS, has it been received?
Due to Data Protection law, we are unable to give this information out over the telephone.
We can advise that once a referral is received, we will send an acknowledgement letter to the primary contact, listed on the referral form, normally, within a few days.
If you have sent us an email, you should have received an 'auto acknowledgement' confirming receipt.
If you are a referring party and you have not received a referral acknowledgement, please e-mail contactus@dbs.gov.uk and request that the acknowledgement is resent. Please note, referral acknowledgements can only be sent to the primary or secondary contacts listed on the original referral form.
