What is a Standard DBS check?

A standard DBS check is suitable for certain roles or licences. Several roles in the legal and financial sectors, as well as some licensing applications (e.g. security guard licenses), can request a Standard DBS check.

A standard DBS check will show spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings and adult cautions from the Police National Computer which have not been filtered in line with legislation
