Create consent

Consent is created by you to enable a third party to view your basic DBS check once it has been issued.

There is currently no facility to view standard or enhanced checks online.

To enable you to generate auto or standalone consent your DBS online account must be linked to your DBS profile. For guidance on how to do this, please refer to the ‘link your online account to a DBS profile’ document in the DBS online account guidance.

You can remove auto or standalone consent at any time once it has been created by logging onto your DBS online account.
